Rip Michels racecar to feature Stock Building
Supply
Raleigh, NC
(January 5, 2008)- Celebrating five years of
tradition and partnership, Rip Michels Racing and Stock Building
Supply team up for the nationally televised NASCAR Toyota All-Star
showdown. The race, held at Irwindale Speedway on January 23, will be
televised on Speed Channel at 10:30 p.m. EST. and 7:30 PST.
Michels is an eight-time NASCAR champion and owns the record for the
most wins at Irwindale Speedway. Additionally, he is the 2006 NASCAR
Southwest Series Champion. Irwindale Speedway is considered to be one
of the best short tracks in America.

sponsor Rip for this national televised event. Our relationships with
our vendor partners is more important than ever,” stated Rick Smith

able to partner for this event that gets national exposure,” stated
Rip Michels.
This is truly a NASCAR All-Star event that will draw the very best
short track racers from across the country. Early predictions are
that some NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Craftsman Truck Series
drivers will attend with David Gililand, Matt Crafton, and Ron
Hornaday who have already entered this event
