Sunrise Ford Race Team Report

   The season had started off slow for Rip and the team. With finishes of 27th, 2nd, and 10th, the team was struggling to get the balance right on their new Victory Circle Chassis. The team, led by Crew Chief John Schuetze Jr., went back to the basics and as a result, captured two straight victories.
   "In the first three races we were experimenting with the set up, and although that car was fast, it was not consistent. So we went back to the basics, and used a set up that was a little more conservative, but yet fast. The "keep it simple" approach resulted in two straight wins, so were very happy," said John Schuetze Jr.
   Rip has made a steady climb in the points and sits in the 5th position, 40 points out of the lead. Rip and the Sunrise Ford Racing team's next race will be on May 19th, 2007 at Irwindale Speedway.

   We hope to see all of our family, friends, and fans at the Dale on the 19th.
